Here are some suggestions to help you prepare for our photo session; underlined words have a link for suggestions.
Bring a comfortable pair of shoes for walking. Women, if you like the way you feel in heels, have a pair handy. If it's cold, bring a warm jacket and gloves. Make sure to get some rest the night before.
Bring whatever makes you feel attractive, but here are some of my suggestions if you need.
Choose colors that bring out your eyes and hair, navy blue, black, grey, cream and white always works. Bring eight to ten tops, though we won't use that many. Also, bring a variety of necklines. For men, layering is wonderful- a blazer and collar shirt, for example, or a t-shirt and light fall jacket. Also, thermals, crew necks and v-necks are fantastic! For women, layering can work as well, but it's usually a good idea to keep it simple. Sheer material is very nice, and spaghetti strap tank tops, scoop necks and v-necks are wonderful. Make sure to keep your neckline open.
If you have your own music you want to listen to while we're in my studio, please bring it along and we will plug it in. Otherwise, I have a nice selection that you can pick from.
Please make sure to arrive on time with your hair and makeup as close to ready as possible, unless we have pre-scheduled a hair and makeup artist to be on the set. The time allotted begins when the session is scheduled to start. Allow for extra travel time. Keep your schedule flexible for our shoot, and I will call you the day before to set the time. A 50% deposit is required to secure your session.
After the shoot;
Approximately one to two weeks after your shoot you will receive an email from me with a link and password to your on-line gallery. I will select the best shots to post online.
You will be able to email them to friends and agents, and add them to your social media pages. If you haven't received an email from me after a week, check your SPAM folder. You can add steinlephoto@gmail to your Contacts list, to make sure it's not blocked as SPAM.
After you have reviewed all your photos and have any hair concerns, distracting elements in background, opening your eyes if they squint when you smile, etc. please let me know and what image you are referring to.
Enjoy your photographs.
